Principal Suspect: Mohamed
DALOUADI
Circumstances of the Crime:
The deceased visited his farm which is located approximately 9 km away of Settat City every morning and
returned to his home at sunset. According his farms' employees, on 24/07/2000 Ahmed NABIH left the farm in his pick up, around 8
p.m. However, he did not arrive at home as expected by his family. Immediately, the family of the victim initiated a search
for him. He had never spent a night away from his home, so his absence was very unusual. The next morning, around 9:30 a.m.,
the Royal Gendarmerie discovered the body of the deceased in his car with the engine still running, approximately 3 km from his
farm. The body exhibited signs of mutilation with a sharp object (more than thirty blows to the victim’s body).
At the crime scene and despite the opposition of Mohamed NABIH, the victim’s brother, (CIN W1021)
to the washing of the vehicle, Gendarmerie Royal guided by Colonel Asraoui and Tarraz Mustapha ordered the immediate washing of
the pick up. This destroyed the physical evidence and potential proof that could have helped to identify the murderer (s). Hours
later, the victim’s body was transported to the Hassan II hospital in Settat city, and then to the Medico-Legal Center of Ain-Chok
in Casablanca for autopsy. The funeral took place on the 26/07/2000.
